What's New in SHRP2

2017 SHRP2 Implementation Highlights: Advancing the State of the Practice

The SHRP2 program built upon its many previous successes in 2017. To date, SHRP2 has successfully delivered $155 million in financial and technical assistance. More than 60 SHRP2 Solutions are now available for implementation by state departments of transportation, metropolitan planning organizations, local and tribal agencies, and FHWA's Federal Lands divisions. The 2017 report breaks down what's going on in each focus area and some of the innovations being utilized by state DOTs.

Updated State-by-State Chart of SHRP2 Implementation

  • New to the SHRP2 toolbox, the latest IAP brochure allows users to look up a state and see which projects it is implementing. Additionally, it provides a product listing, outlining which starts are implementing each product. Two ways to look up this information! This resource is a quick guide if you have questions about a specific product, or just want to share information! As always, Pam Hutton at AASHTO is available for more information at phutton@aashto.org.
